About the Owner and Instructor : Coco
Coleen "Coco" Cosner is a graduate from Boston University with a Bachelors in Painting, Minor in Printmaking and Art History.
After graduation she moved to Fort Collins in September of 2009 and began working as a studio assistant for international artist Wes Hempel.
In June 2009 she open Coco Artist Studio in Old Town Square.
The Studio served as a gallery and work space. You could catch her painting live in her studio working on commission portraits or her own personal pieces.
The idea to open an art school came from overwhelming demand for private lessons and she realized there was a void in the Fort Collins community for continuing education and classical training for adults and children. The art school was then soon established in 2011.
We were lucky to call the Downtown Artery home for close to seven years before moving to our current location, still in heart of Old Town.
